Abstract
In the context of this work, interviews were conducted with people with a refugee and immigrant profile, in order to draw conclusions about the effectiveness of Counseling and Professional Guidance in these populations. The interviews conducted were semistructured, while nine (9) people participated, who searing their experiences of receiving the service of Counseling and Career Guidance. The results obtained from the analysis of the data can contribute to the understanding of the needs of the refugee and immigrant population by the services of the Counseling and Career Guidance, but also to the improvement of the services of the organizations that have undertaken their support in our country.
